Greetings from Winnie Nazarko

Welcome to the website of Winnie Nazarko, a contemporary Buddhist teacher. This site is designed to offer a sample of my approach to offering the Dharma, and to provide easy access to my retreat teaching schedule.

There are many teachers and styles of teaching. Each person who explicates the Dharma does it in their own particular style, and in a unique voice. My own training has been primarily with teachers associated with the Insight Meditation Society, and with Spirit Rock Meditation Center. These have been primarily lay teachers, but have also included well respected Asian monastics. More information about this can be found in my bio on this site.

In Gratitude

I am deeply grateful to those who have walked the path before me, and who have so generously preserved and offered the Dharma to all who seek understanding. I have been a beneficiary of these many generations of practitioners and teachers.

I offer the teachings, like they have, to those who seek to develop and free their own hearts and minds. May all who read these words find the path to their own liberation.
